Senior Data Engineer

What you will be doing:

• Build a new data engineering platform for Tangerine to enable business analytics and production AI and ML applications in support of business strategies and objectives, ensuring compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
• Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Participate in the design and implementation of the Tangerine data engineering strategy and platform, advising senior leadership and executing on the vision with senior architects and the development team.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts and software engineers to understand user requirements and inform the design and development of data‑engineering features.
• Perform hands‑on development on highly complex initiatives.
