Westpac New Zealand Limited in Auckland is searching for a Senior Data Engineer to lead data pipelines across DB2/Oracle environments, ensuring real-time streaming to Kafka and HDFS. You will mentor engineers, shape engineering practices, and ensure risk and regulatory compliance are front of mind.

You will translate business needs into scalable designs, maintain SLAs, and drive incident response, with strong Java/Python skills and extensive Kafka/Hadoop experience.
