Senior Data Engineer DBT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration from IBM DataStage to DBT and BigQuery or similar cloud-based data solutions
• Design and implement modular, testable, and scalable DBT models aligned with business requirements and performance goals
• Optimize and manage BigQuery datasets, including partitioning, clustering, and cost-efficient querying
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing pipelines and translate them into modern ELT workflows
• Establish best practices for version control, CI/CD, testing, and documentation in DBT
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members throughout the migration process
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and security throughout the pipeline lifecycle
• Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring integration of data engineering solutions with business needs
