Lead the charge in labour relations as a Senior Labour Relations Consultant at Southlake Health, located in Newmarket, Ontario. This full-time role blends strategic decision-making with proactive employee engagement to foster a healthy workplace culture.
As a senior consultant, you will work under the Manager of Employee & Labour Relations, taking ownership of grievance processes, negotiations, and conflict resolution. Your expertise will shape productive labour-management partnerships while guiding operational leaders through complex workplace challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control grievance and arbitration management for ONA, OPSEU, SEIU
• Prepare and represent case positions in mediation
• Collaborate on collective bargaining and Labour-Management forums
• Advise senior management on collective agreement matters
• Monitor labour relations trends and strategies
