Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Design & Strategy
Discovery & Design: Lead workshops to assess legacy environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and design future-state OpenShift architectures.Migration Planning: Develop large-scale migration strategies using the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV).Strategic Advisory: Present technical roadmaps and business-value cases to IT leadership to justify infrastructure shifts.
2. Technical Implementation (Hands-on)
Cluster Deployment: Build and secure OpenShift clusters on bare-metal or hybrid-cloud environments.
Networking & Storage: Configure advanced networking (SR-IOV, OVN-K, Multus) and software-defined storage (OpenShift Data Foundation/Ceph).
