Job Description

Scope:

Responsible for developing CNC programs by CAD/CAM software to produce machined parts on CNC Milling machines, Wire EDM & Sinker. Set up and operate machines while maintaining quality and safety standards. Expert in Master CAM 2024 and 2D + 3D Programming.

Key Job Authority:

  1. Authority to manage the machining process and take necessary action to ensure the quality, safety and health hazard of the products.

Key Job Accountability

  1. Work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
  2. Generate CNC programs from the CAD/CAM software.
  3. Prepare CNC machine set up sheet with cutting tool list, set up instructions & controls.
  4. Control the handling of CNC programs from server to CNC machines.
  5. Create and maintain the part manufacturing processes.
  6. Set up and operate CNC machines as needed.
