Senior Care Assistant (Contract)

£13.71 per hour – Contracted to 34.5 hours per week.

Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract).

Role Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality, person‑centred care for individuals with complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long‑term health challenges. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered safely within a structured and supportive environment. Alongside providing hands‑on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes, including behaviours or complex needs.
