Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backup & Storage Engineer to support enterprise backup, recovery, and storage infrastructure in a complex multi-platform environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration, maintenance, performance optimization, and disaster recovery operations for enterprise backup solutions and storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM/SPM) environments, including implementation, upgrades, migration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations using IBM Storage Protect, NetBackup, and Cohesity platforms.
- Perform disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution for critical business systems.
- Manage tape libraries, virtual tape libraries (VTL), and backup storage infrastructure
- Monitor backup performance, capacity utilization, and system health.
