Senior backend integration engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and microservices using Node.js
Build and deploy services on AWS using:
Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3
ECS, Glue, Event Bridge
SQS, SNS
Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Debug and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
Create and maintain HLD/LLD documentation
Implement monitoring and observability using Cloud Watch, Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS X-Ray
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline
Implement security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager)
Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Cloud Formation, CDK, Serverless Framework)
Develop automated tests using Mocha, Jest, and mocking frameworks
Collaborate via Git Hub (PR reviews) and track progress using Jira
