Senior Backend Engineer (Python + Django, Latam)

**The Role**:
We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments. You’ll work directly with the company’s founders and help shape both the product and technical direction. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role ideal for someone who enjoys building across the stack and shipping features quickly.
We value clear communication, empathy for customers, and a collaborative mindset. Since we're a fully remote company, success in this role also requires self-direction and strong time management.
The ideal person will be passionate about building consumer data privacy software, and will have experience across most of these areas:
- Python / Django
- Working in Django at Scale
- Django-rest-framework and/or django-ninja
- Utilizing various testing strategies to deliver high quality, robust code
- Asynchronous jobs execution / event brokers (Celery / RabbitMQ / Redis)
- Databases - Postgres and NoSQL (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, ...
