About The Position

Pentaleap is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) (Freelance) working remotely in the Philippines starting immediately. You need to be able to offer your services as a freelancer in the Philippines. Availability for regular overlap with Berlin, Germany business hours for meetings/collaboration is required.

Your Responsibilities

• You will design and implement new features and enhancements to our platform that require hard real‑time constraints and elegant, yet powerful software solutions.
• You will work closely with other engineers and our Product teams, to not only make these systems go faster and handle more and more data, but also to build innovative features for our clients.
• You will prioritize bug fixes to ensure critical up‑time.
• You will work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure real‑time technology integrates seamlessly with other pieces of the platform.
