Senior Backend Java Engineer with Devops experience Shift Timings: USA, PST (Pacific Standard Time) Location: Remote (Brazil). ContractWe're seeking a seasoned Backend Java Engineer who can own services end-to-end, from development through production infrastructure management.What You'll Do:Design and build scalable APIs and backend services using Java Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and secure coding Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform Deploy and orchestrate services with KubernetesWhat We're Looking For:10+ years of Java development experience (Spring Boot preferred) Strong API development and RESTful design skills Hands-on experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL Proven ability with Terraform and Kubernetes Security-minded approach to development Experience with microservices architecture Ability to own projects from concept to production
