Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help us:
Reduce AWS costs through proper commitment strategy (Savings Plans / Reserved Instances / rightsizing)
Improve infrastructure security and reliability
Complete a defined set of AWS infrastructure tasks in our production and staging environments
This is not just advisory work — we expect hands-on implementation.
We run a production AWS environment with EC2, RDS (TimescaleDB), CloudFront, and standard VPC networking.
Scope of Work
Part 1 — Cost Optimization
Analyze current AWS cost structure
Review EC2 usage and recommend optimal Savings Plan strategy (1-year)
Evaluate Reserved Instances (where applicable)
Identify rightsizing opportunities
Provide clear cost-saving plan with estimated impact
Implement agreed Savings Plan / RI purchases
Deliverable:
Written cost optimization report
Implemented cost-saving measures
Utilization and coverage monitoring ...
