About the Opportunity

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on audits for the Legislative Assembly. The role involves assessing financial statements, internal controls and compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of moderately complex audits, including drafting audit reports, presenting findings and providing recommendations.
• Assist in developing the audit approach, documenting the planning phase and contributing to process improvements.
• Research industry best practices and incorporate them into current and future audits.
• Conduct planned audits and reviews in accordance with audit standards.
• Collect and analyze information from auditees, management and external organizations.
