What You'll Do
As a Senior Associate Accountant IFRS 16 based in Cape Town, you will be entrusted with managing the end-to-end process of lease accounting under IFRS 16.
Manage all aspects of IFRS 16 lease accounting by ensuring accurate recognition, measurement, and disclosure of leases in accordance with relevant standards.
Maintain detailed lease registers and supporting schedules for right-of-use assets and lease liabilities, ensuring data integrity at all times.
Assess new leases as well as modifications, re-measurements, and terminations under IFRS 16 requirements to guarantee compliance and transparency.
