To act as a member of the Pharmacy team, undertaking a full range of duties, to contribute to the provision of a quality Pharmacy service, under the direction and supervision of the Procurement Manager.

To accurately process orders for medications with manufacturers and wholesalers where applicable. Ensure documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately. Liaise with the Procurement Manager regarding out‑of‑stocks, non‑contract and supplier issues.

Under the direction, control and, where necessary, the direct supervision of a Senior Pharmacy Technician or suitable qualified person, the dispensing of inpatient, outpatient, community unit, self‑medication wallets, discharge medication (TTOs), controlled drugs (CDs) against previously clinically checked prescriptions, the receipt, stock c...
