Our client, a well-funded Toronto-based startup working toward building the first commercially viable quantum computer, is seeking a Senior AI Backend Developer. This role sits at the intersection of AI, system design, and scientific research, integrating generative AI into advanced R&D methodologies. You will design and develop AI-driven research systems, build scalable pipelines for unstructured data, and collaborate with world-class researchers, engineers, and scientists to accelerate innovation. Key responsibilities include developing SDKs/APIs, automating processes, and ensuring robust, production-ready systems using Python, Postgres, Docker, Terraform, AWS, and GitHub.

Requirements
