Senior Accounts Assistant

This position has been created to support the Sales Ledger Manager; day to day you’ll support a small team, but your main focus will be taking the lead on a new project.

The business is currently in the process of implementing a new system. A big part of your role will be working with the sales department but also deputising for the Sales Ledger Manager.

What they need is someone who is experienced in cashiering/sales ledger but also has the ambition to become a manager within the next few years.

Below is a small overview of the role;

• Lead the sales ledger team in the absence of the Sales Ledger Manager.
• Be the Sales Ledger project lead, in the role out of a new integrated payment solution throughout the group and become the subject matter expert on this new system.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for allocated expense codes.
• Receive, sort and log daily banking from sites.
