Senior Accountant (Tijuana)

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is a key member of the financial team in the organization responsible for a combination of financial functions ensuring legal reporting compliance and other accounting duties and functions across several divisions of the corporation.

• Participate in monthly GL closing and reporting for Maquila operations.
• Preparation of monthly sales and property tax filings.
• Manage monthly VAT filing and reclaim process.
• Preparation of monthly accounting reports for Mexican Tax Authority.
• Preparation and submission of all Mexican financial electronic reporting.
• Reconciliation of applicable general ledger accounts.
• Performing all assigned functions in such a way that quality customer service is maximized.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
