Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to cover a 12 month family leave contract.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake full cycle accounting duties to ensure all transactions are recorded and in accordance with IFRS.

• Support the Controller in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

• Assist the Controller to establish and maintain systems and procedures for all departments in the control and development of operating and capital budgets and forecasts.

• Establish and maintain appropriate internal checks and controls

• Prepare account reconciliations and cash reconciliations as well as review AP and timesheets of junior staff
