Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is an exciting and forward-facing position within the accounting department. This position will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures related specifically to the assigned line of business and focused heavily on revenue recognition. The position will interact with a variety of colleagues throughout the organization to ensure revenue, expenses and balance sheet activity are recorded in accordance with GAAP. This position will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
Responsible for the month-end closing process for assigned line(s) of business including journal entries, account analysis, and financial statement preparation.
Prepare and analyze key financial metrics and revenue trends for assigned line(s) of business.
Prepare and present monthly financial analysis and trends to the business leadership and collaborate regarding future monthly financial expectation...
