Dawson Group is looking for a collaborativeSeniorAccountant.

In this role you will be a valued member of , working in a permanent, full-time position of Senior Accountant, reporting
to the Chief Financial Officer. Your base location will be in Kamloops,
B.C.; however, Dawson Group embraces distributed work, meaning the
successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from home.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Reconcile purchase price equation from the sale of business assets to existing balance sheet reconciliations and generate closing entries.
  • Identify and record additional closing accounting entries for post close purchase price adjustments negotiated in December and early January.
  • Prepare and review December month-end financial statements.
  • Prepare 2025 year-end assurance working papers for our external accountants to perform Review procedures on.
