Senior Accountant

Cerence AI is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to support our global finance organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, with a strong focus on month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, accruals, payroll accounting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead key components of the month‑end and quarter‑end close, including preparation and review of journal entries (commissions, payroll, fringe benefits, accruals).
• Manage Open PO accrual process, including reporting, stakeholder coordination, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze payroll‑related entries across U.S. and Canada entities, including bi‑weekly processing support.
• Perform account reconciliations and true‑ups (vacation liabilities, commissions, Azure/vendor accruals).
