Senior Accountant

Description

: The Senior Accountant ensures proper classification and reporting of accounting transactions primarily in the areas of IT Accounting, Month end close, Accruals, and Reconciliations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Corporate Financial Instructions. While handling inquiries and resolving issues for both internal and external customers, the Senior Accountant identifies and recommends process transformation opportunities. Provides business process knowledge in their respective areas to ensure the accounting systems deliver timely and accurate information in accordance with business process design. 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. This position is remote in Richmond, Virginia.
