Senior Accountant - airdrie

Overview

BAAC Construction is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our projects and organization — working closely with project managers, site teams, and leadership to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. Viewpoint Spectrum experience is a strong asset and will be given preference during the selection process. ERP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close
• Prepare financial statements, job cost reports, and variance analyses
• Support project accounting and cost tracking across active construction projects
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
