SEND unit class teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND teacher to join our Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP) at Holland Junior School, preparing to open a second class in September 2026 alongside the existing Maple Class.

The successful candidate will work alongside the SEND Co‑ordinator, experienced SEND teachers and teaching assistants, additional SEND unit teachers across the Trust, and our Academy Central Head of SEND.

The salary for this role includes an additional SEND allowance. We are happy to consider part‑time or full‑time working patterns – please indicate your preference in your personal statement.

• Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs.
• Solid foundation in autism‑specific strategies.
