Free CPD and Constant Support with interviewing and teachingEmpowering Learning are working with a two-form entry primary school in the borough of Hackney, who are recruiting for a SEND teaching assistant for a Year 1 class. This will be supporting a child with ASD who has good levels of attainment but struggles with social communication. The school are part of a federation with a group of three schools working together. The school embraces modern teaching and learning approaches and use iPads throughout the school.
The role will be starting ASAP, and they are looking for somebody who can commit to the role until July 2026 with the view of continuing in the new academic year. Competitive salary is being offered, depending on experience.

Experience of working in Key Stage 1 in a Primary school
