SEND Teaching Assistant

What is the job role?

SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 – support children with special educational needs. Fixed term, starting 1.9.26 until 31.8.27, with possible extension subject to need.

35 hours a week, 8.30am-4pm, term‑time only.

We are looking for a person who shares our vision for high‑quality education for all children and shows enthusiasm and motivation to:

• Help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff, senior staff and the Special Educational Needs Leader (SENDCO) to undertake work/care/support programmes, enabling access to learning for pupils and assisting the teacher in managing pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.
