TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Bradford, seeking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher. The provision is committed to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where pupils are supported to achieve their full potential through a personalised and therapeutic approach.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher for a September start on either a day-to-day or long-term basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH needs across all Key Stages, delivering engaging lessons, promoting positive behaviour and creating a supportive classroom environment that enables every learner to succeed.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching children and young people with SEND, particularly SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills
The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
