SEND Classroom Support – Basingstoke

Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £93 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Start: May 2026

A welcoming SEND school in Basingstoke is looking for a Classroom Support Assistant to work across a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

The school offers a supportive team environment and strong leadership, making it a great place to build SEND experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting learning in the classroom
  • Assisting with differentiated activities
  • Providing targeted 1:1 support
  • Encouraging independence and confidence

Requirements

  • Some experience with SEND (school or transferable)
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
