Sen Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a SEN School to recruit dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join their specialist team.

The  School is a nurturing specialist provision for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), whose primary need is Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Many pupils also have additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties and communication needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children who may have faced barriers to learning and who want to help pupils build confidence, resilience and positive relationships.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to help pupils access learning, regulate their emotions and achieve their individual goals.
