SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support | EYFS & KS1

Overview

We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis within primary schools across Southport, Ormskirk and surrounding areas. There is a particular demand for support within EYFS and KS1 settings, with schools looking for committed and adaptable individuals to support pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom.
• Supporting children with autism, SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs.
• Helping to create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting both academic and social development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• A patient, adaptable and caring approach.
