Job Description
Smile Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Birmingham. The school is rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection and has a strong and welcoming atmosphere within the staff team.
The SEN teaching assistant role would be working full time with children with additional needs , working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30.
The Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
Encouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactive
Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members.
Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
