Job Description

Humly North West is acting as an employment business to recruit a nurturing SEN Learning Support Assistant for a full-time EYFS 1:1 role at a primary school in Workington, supporting a young child with additional needs for the remainder of the Summer Term.

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Confident working on a 1:1 basis within EYFS or early years
  • Nurturing, patient and consistent approach
  • Understanding of early intervention and play-based learning
  • Able to build a trusting relationship with a young learner
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

Role Details

Location: Workington

Pay Rate: £15.46 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, term time only

Dates: 18/05/2026 - 17/07/2026
