Semiconductor Applications Engineer

Job Summary

Semiconductor Applications Engineer – Salary £40,000 to £60,000 per annum. Hybrid working based in Leicestershire with approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote after probation, and occasional UK/EU travel (~10%).

Global semiconductor company specialising in analogue power management ICs, including LDOs, DC/DC converters and PMICs.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience or exposure to analogue or power electronics such as DC/DC converters, LDOs, voltage regulation or power supply design.
• Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, reference designs and evaluation boards.
• Understanding of PCB layout principles and component selection.
• Strong communication skills – able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues.
