We’re currently recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants to support children and young people across schools and specialist settings in Loughborough and surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll be helping pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs build confidence, develop positive relationships, and engage with learning.

You’ll be providing support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, acting as a positive role model and helping pupils navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
  • Are calm, patient, and resilient
  • Can build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
  • Have experience in education, care, youth work, mentoring, or support work
