Overview
SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Chieveley
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Help students develop emotional regulation and resilience
- Deliver targeted interventions and wellbeing support
- Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
- Encourage positive engagement with learning and school life
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external agencies
Qualifications and Attributes
The school is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping young people overcome challenges. Previous experience within education, care, youth work, mentoring, or mental health support would be advantageous.
