Behaviour Support Assistant – Salford

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Salford, supporting pupils aged 11–16 with additional needs. This is a full time (term time only) position to start in September.

The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside conditions such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, anxiety, attachment difficulties, and behavioural challenges. The role involves helping pupils manage their behaviour, engage in learning, and develop positive relationships.

Responsibilities:


  • Support pupils in the classroom and around the school.
  • Implement Behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
