Job Description

Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada is a recognized leader in the underground mine construction industry. We are currently seeking experienced development miners for a project located in Northwestern Ontario. This is a FI/FO position operating on a 2 weeks in 2 weeks out schedule. Responsibilities and Experience

  • Perform development drilling, blasting, and mucking according to the mine plan.
  • Operate underground equipment such as jackleg stoper, scoop trams (LHDs), and service vehicles.
  • Install and maintain ground support (bolting, screening, shotcrete as required).
  • Conduct scaling to ensure workplace stability and safety.
  • Interpret development prints and instructions to ensure accurate drift advancement.
