We are currently seeking a Scale House Operator to join our team of skilled professionals at our Brampton, ON Location.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Scale House Operator will be responsible to book truck driver appointments and to control the trucks at the scale in the yard. The operator is responsible to ensure the safety and security of the IKO premise

  • Proper screening of employees on a daily basis following the Company’s protocol.
  • Receiving calls for booking of appointments of truck drivers.
  • Traffic controlling of trucks at the scale in in the yard.
  • Investigate each weight variance alarm and summon Shipping personnel to investigate the matter as well.
  • Refuse to release any unsafe load and report the matter to the Shipping Supervisor or Safety Co-ordinator immediately
