The Security business unit’s key objective is to protect the University’s physical assets and ensure the safety and wellbeing of its people while delivering a positive campus experience. The Security team plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment across the University by managing risks, supporting emergency response, promoting safety awareness, and fostering strong relationships with the University community and external stakeholders—all while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the Security and Traffic Officer is responsible for the effective interpretation and efficient application of the University’s Parking and Traffic By-Laws within Murdoch’s land boundaries.
