Position Overview

Under the direction of the Director, Security Services, the incumbent is responsible for the effective supervision, guidance and direction of security staff to ensure the security of hospital buildings, grounds, employees and patients and visitors. Performs regular functions of the security staff as required.


Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a Security Patrol Officer or Police Officer with at least three years’ experience in a recognized supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an ISO Patrol Lead within HSC.
  • Must have or be able to acquire within a reasonable period of time a thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions and regulations applicable to the area of supervision.
