SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF, G1 of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND. Responsibilities You will assist managers and senior specialists in reviewing and evaluating new, revised, or proposed security instructions, guidelines, opinions, and decisions for impact on the organization's practices. You will make recommendations for, and assists in the development of new instructions, guides, and amplifying information for the organization. You will assist in designing and conducting IT system security tests and audits in support of efforts to assess the security of the organization's computer systems. You will assist with the classification and declassification of materials and information. You will maintain the accountability records for all COMSEC materials and equipment in the Center account.
