Role Overview

Title: Security Officer

Location: Caldicot

Salary: £12.99 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week (including nights)

Grade: Site Based

Purpose: To provide a security service at the working location in line with the Assignment Instructions and customer requirements in order to protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety and security patrols of the premises.
• Ensure compliance with all site regulations, procedures and assignment instructions.
• Support emergency procedures, including evacuations and site searches.
• Maintain vigilance at all times, report incidents promptly and prevent disruption.
• Accurately maintain records of all activities, incidents and shift handovers.
• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site; monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
