Security Guard Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client in Mayo, are currently recruiting for the position of Security Guard. This role is initially 3 months, with the working week consisting of 39 hours. The suitable candidate must have full availability. This role carries an annual salary of €35,788. *This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role* Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide physical security to staff, visitors and members of the public Patrol buildings and surrounding areas to deter and detect security risks Monitor CCTV and other security systems Control access to premises, including issuing and managing keys or passes Respond to security incidents, alarms and requests for assistance Record, investigate and report incidents, accidents or security breaches Escort personnel or property as required Assist with traffic and parking control when necessa...
