**Position Description & Qualifications**
The **Security Engineer** will be responsible for implementing security controls for Department of Defense client network and infrastructure elements/systems, to meet federal regulatory compliance specifications. Candidates will also perform an in-depth analysis of the current infrastructure environments.
In this role, you will:
+ Perform technical assessments of systems and networks and identify deviations from acceptable configurations or local policy
+ Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
+ Conduct reviews of each system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure
+ Review security logs, analyze security reports, and provide technical security solutions for systems and software
+ Exercise good cyber hygiene in support of the overall programs
+ Present security information to management and customers
