Job Description
Purpose of the position is to Support WHO provincial operations by collecting and reporting security information, supporting practical risk mitigation, and coordinating day-to-day security actions at duty-station level. The incumbent serves as the WHO Local Security Assistant in the duty station and supports safeguarding personnel and assets, and safe programme delivery in line with UNDSS guidance, WHO SOPs, and SRM and SRMM requirements.
Under the administrative supervision of the Polio Programme Provincial Team Lead (first line supervisor), and with functional supervision (second line supervisor) from the WHO Pakistan Head of Security, the incumbent supports the provincial office and field teams on security risk management. The incumbent coordinates closely with UNDSS Security Cell, relevant UN security counterparts, and local authorities for movement facilitation, incident response, and contingency preparedness.
