Section Manager, Engineering (Base ops)

Summary

To oversight base maintenance checks. Reporting to VP Engineering, He/she is primarily responsible for driving team to deliver timely completion of maintenance checks and rectifications in a base hangar. This will be inclusive of both maintenance checks in Singapore or overseas hangar.

Base operations

• Lead team to oversight Aircraft Maintenance checks with all MROs(SIN and overseas).
• Maintain good relationship with MROs liaison and ensured checks preparations and progress are monitored.
• Forecast and escape any issues that will delay checks to management and work with MRO/ITM/FTM lead to resolve.
• Ensure daily reports on progress of maintenance checks in base maintenance hangars.
• Management of check delays / AOG situations and provide coordination with service partners and relevant departments for technical support, spares and manpower for daily operations, delays / AOG / Incidents / ...
