Our client is seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Oracle Database Administrator to support the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of cloud-based database systems across complex federal environments. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, database technologies, automation, and security to ensure resilient, high-performance, highly available data services that meet mission-critical requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database servers and related tools in IL5 and IL6 environments, including applying hot fixes, service packs, and version upgrades.
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify opportunities for tuning and optimization.
• Design, implement, and manage database backup, recovery, retention, and archiving strategies.
• Manage database security, including roles, permissions, encryption (including row-level), auditing, and IAM integrations.
