Cedar Springs Public Schools invites devoted educators to apply for the open position of Secondary Resource Room Teacher (Either Middle School or High School) that’s available for the 2026-27 school year. We are excited to engage with quality candidates who are not only results-driven but also committed to inspiring children to develop emotionally, socially, and intellectually. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Michigan teaching certification with special education endorsement

  • Must meet Highly Qualified requirements

  • Required Endorsement (in at least one): Learning Disabled, Emotionally Impaired, Cognitive Impaired or Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Extensive experience in behavior management

  • Evidence of a positive attitude and human relationship skills

  • Knowledge/interest in working with students from diverse backgrounds
